Hi, I'm Marita.
I strive to inspire my students to form a deep connection with music so that they'll want to keep playing piano for life. I endeavour to give my students a positive experience around piano lessons and provide them with an engaging, collaborative way of learning and a true understanding of music.
I believe everyone learns best when they have a clear vision of what they want to achieve and can work towards this in a supportive, relaxed environment. As a piano teacher, I set out to help each of my students create their own goals and provide them with guidance to reach their full potential as they learn piano. A successful outcome for me would be to see my students leave each of their lessons feeling inspired, empowered and confident as a musician.
I offer students the opportunity to do practical and theory examinations through AMEB. Exams can be a great tool for progress as they outline specific criteria a clear timeframe to meet goals as well as a great achievement to show for your progress and hard work.
